2 cups brown sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
6 qts popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first four ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour over popped corn, toss gently, and bake @ 200º for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. 3 bags of microwave popcorn or 2 bags of hull-less corn puffs may be substituted for the popped corn. If they are salted, do not add salt when making the caramel.
