3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 baked (9 inch) pie crust
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
1 package (4 serving size) INSTANT French Vanilla pudding & pie filling mix
5 Reese's peanut butter cups, 4 cups chopped and save one for top decoration
2 cups thawed cool whip
Chocolate chips (optional)--see personal notes

Bake pie crust per package instructions and cool completely before adding filling.
In a medium size bowl combine: powdered sugar and peanut butter with a fork until blended. Spread evenly in bottom of baked pie crust. In a large bowl: place milk and sour cream add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk or beater 1-2 minutes until thickened.Pour half of the filling over peanut butter mixture. Coarsely chop 4 Reese's cups and sprinkle over filling. Top with remaining pudding. Spread whipped topping over filling. Cut remaining candy cup into 8 pie shape pieces and decorate top of pie. Refrigerate before serving at least 1 hour.

You can use Pillsbury Pie crust or Trader Joe's and bake per package instructions.You can also use chocolate cookie crust if you prefer.Steve prefers adding a layer of chocolate chips over peanut butter layer on bottom.
