1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup sour milk
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Cream together shortening and sugar then gradually add beaten egg milk rolled oats raisins and nuts. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture drop from spoon and bake 12 to 15 minutes 350° oven.
