1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 cup chopped walnuts
4 Tbsp. cocoa powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together, add vanilla. Separate eggs and add beaten yolks to milk. Beat egg whites. Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add alternating with milk. Add nuts fold in beaten egg whites. Drop onto greased cookie sheet and put into 350° oven and bake 10-12 minutes.

When baked cover with the following icing.
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. cold coffee
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar
Beat ingredients together using enough powdered sugar to make a creamy consistency for spreading icing.

This recipe was in a cookbook my mom and grandma used when I was growing up and they would make the chocolate drop cookies mom was getting rid of cookbooks and she gave me this one and I have use this recipe several times it's a good moist cookie yummy.
