1 cup light brown sugar firmly packed
1 Tsp flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cloves
2 beaten eggs
¼ cup cream
½ cup milk
2 cups pumpkin – heated
¼ cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift brown sugar, then sift again with the flour, salt and spices. Set aside. Mix together in a separate medium-sized bowl, the eggs, cream, milk, pumpkin and melted butter.
When thoroughly combined, mix in with the dry ingredients. Pour filling into a nine or 10-inch unbaked pie shell.
Bake in preheated 425 F oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 350 F and continue baking for an additional 35 – 45 minutes or until set.

Serve topped with honey-ginger whipping cream.
In chilled bowl beat 2 cups chilled whipping cream until stiff, gradually adding ¼ cup honey and ½ tsp ginger. Chill 1 – 2 hours before serving.
