2 lbs ground beef
1 head of cabbage
1 yellow onion
garlic salt/minced or whatever you like for garlic
2 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Follow package for bread dough. Once risen, roll into small sections.
2. Brown ground beef and drain fat, add chopped onion, garlic, butter, and chopped cabbage.
3. Cook it down. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of beef mixture to rolled out sections of dough. Fold in half/wrap/shape how you wish.
5. Bake 20 minutes at 350º. May brush with melted butter after baking.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
It's best if the beef mixture is completely cooled before wrapping it in the dough. Wrap them tightly. Let the pre-baked Runzas sit out for a while to rise again before baking.

These were made famous in Nebraska at "The Runza Hut". How happy I was to discover that they had a Runza Hut in Fort Collins (in 2006) where Megan and Jill went to college. They even had a Runza Hut food truck at the CSU football stadium!
