4 c. potato flakes
4 t. sugar
3 c. boiling water
1-1/3 c. whole milk
1-1/2 c. butter
1 c. Half & Half (or heavy cream)
3 t. salt
1/4 t. baking powder
flour (see lefse dough)

Directions:
Directions:
Place dry ingredients into 3 quart bowl. in a saucepan, bring to boil water, milk, Half & Half (cream), and butter. Stir liquid into bowl of potato mixture until smooth.. Refrigerate overnight.

Lefse Dough:
To each 2 cups of chilled potato mixture add 1 cup flour. Work together with hands until flour had been absorbed. If sticky, add more flour. (I use the dough hooks on my mixer to work in flour, it is easier)
