Ingredients: 1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
two eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
Half a teaspoon salt
quarter teaspoon baking soda
milk or light cream
mix all ingredients and chill for one hour
Lemon filling
1 cup sugar
quarter cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons grated lime
half a cup of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of butter
mix all ingredients cook until thick and boils cool thoroughly
Cherry filling
Three forced cup sugar 3 tablespoons of cornstarch three force cup orange juice half a cup of cherry syrup 18 chop cherries one and a half tablespoon of butter
Pineapple filling
2/3 cup sugar 3 tablespoons of flour 113 ounce can crushed pineapple and half a cup of pineapple syrup 2 tablespoons of lemon juice – is not Meg

Notes: I make these with peanut butter and jelly and they go crazy over them I've made about four batches so far this year and it's like triple the batch but this is a good cookie with any kind of filling that you'd like to put in it Monja
