Triple the recipe

One and a half cups butter 1 1/2 cup shortening 4 1/2 cups sugar six eggs 6 3/4 cup flour 6 teaspoons cream of tartar 3 teaspoons baking soda 3/4 salt

Mix butter shortening and sugar and eggs blend in next four ingredients shape dough into balls then roll in sugar and cinnamon place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking pan remove immediately
