2 cups raisins covered w/ water. Simmer 20 minutes. Drain & cool.

Base:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 cup oatmeal
1 3/4 cup flour

Middle:
3 beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla

Base: Pat 1/2 crumbs (base)
in 9x13 pan. Bake 7 minutes at 350º

Middle:In heavy sauce pan cook till thick: 3 beaten egg yolks, 1 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 cup sugar, 2 1/2 tsp. cornstarch. Add raisins to mix, add 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour over crust. Add last 1/2 of crumbs on top of everything.

Bake at 350º for 30 minutes

This recipe was given to Mark from the secretary where he worked at Eastern Electric. She was a skinny little thing, but, always brought all kinds of goodies for the guys there. She was the only girl there, so she spoiled them with all kinds of baked good! Mark asked for the recipe, & now every year I make it for him for Christmas!
