Ingredients:  
3/4 c. mashed strawberries
whole strawberries
3 tbsp. corn starch
1/4 c. cold water
1 c. white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Line a 9" pie shell with pastry & bake pastry
2. Fill bottom of cooked pastry shell with fresh strawberries
3. Boil above ingredients until clear & thick
4. Pour mixture over berries in pie shell
5. Top with whole or halved berries
6. Refrigerate until served

This recipe came from Kathy Upper who was our neighbour when we lived in Mississauga. It is an excellent pie for the summer when berries are in season and so easy to make.
