1/2 c. raisins
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg well beaten

1. Pour boiling water over raisins & let stand for 10 minutes
2. Drain raisins, & immediately add other ingredients
3. Stir together & fill muffin tins lined with pastry
4. Bake @ 425F for 12-15 minutes

This recipe is from Great Grandma Campbell and is probably Grandma's #1 "claim to fame" in the baking department. I also use the electric pastry mixture when I make butter tarts, which is included in this cookbook.
