Ingredients:  
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. flour
2 tbsp. cooking sherry
6-8 apples

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in bowl with sliced apples
2. Line pie plate with pastry
3. Add apple mixture
4. Sprinkle top of apple mixture with butter & lemon juice
5. Add pastry top
6. Bake @ 425F for 20 minutes, reduce heat to 350F, bake for additional 30 minutes or until apples are bubbly

This recipe came from Great Grandma Campbell. I usually make my pastry with Tender Flake lard, using the recipe on the box. You can make pies ahead and freeze, then bake when ready to serve.
