17 lb. sirloin beef (adjusted according to size of party)
3 c. chopped onion
6 cans beef consommé soup
3 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. red wine
5 1/2 lb. noodles
7 tbsp. butter
4 1/2 lb. mushrooms
3 tbsp. Worcestershire
1 2/3 c. flour
5 c. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
1. Have meat cut in 3"x1"x1/4" strips
2. In large roasting pan, saute onions in butter until soft
3. Add meat & cook & stir on medium high temperature
4. Add mushrooms, consommé, Worcestershire, & salt
5. Stir flour into the wine with a wire whip
6. Whip until a smooth paste
7. Add wine mixture & stir until thickened. Heat thoroughly
8. Add sour cream just before serving
