1# spaghetti
1# bacon, coarsely chopped
4 eggs, well beaten
1 cup grated parmesan
pepper to taste

cook pasta, reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water; transfer pasta to large bowl, cover and keep warm

cook bacon till crisp, drain; reserve 2 T of the drippings

whisk eggs, parmesan and drippings in a bowl, add to hot pasta along
with crumbled bacon and 2 T water
