6 cups of Rhubarb - more or less
3 scant cups sugar
1 box strawberry or raspberry jello
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Put the rhubarb and sugar in large kettle, don't quite cover rhubarb with water. Then bring to boil the rhubarb and sugar. After being boiled, add immediately 1 box of strawberry or raspberry jello, mix well. Add 1 small box of frozen raspberries or strawberries and 2 tsp. vanilla. Cool & put in fridge. Enjoy this as a jelly for toast, pancakes, waffles, or just plain in a dish with cream. Think of your own creation to use this with.

Mark's mom Erna made this all the time & whenever we came to her house she wanted to make sure she had some made for the girls knowing that they loved this sauce. Everytime we have this sauce we think of Mark's mom.
