1 lb. Oreo cookies, crushed
1 cup margarine, softened
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups Spanish peanuts
2/3 cup choc. chips
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1/2 cup margarine

Directions:

Mix crushed cookies and 1 cup margarine. Pat lightly into 9x13 pan. Freeze. Boil chocolate chips, sugar, vanilla, milk and 1/2 cup margarine for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool. Spread ice cream over crust. Sprinkle peanuts over ice cream. Pour cooled chocolate sauce over peanuts. Freeze.

I used to make this years ago when the kids were little, & they loved it. Somewhere along the line I lost track of the recipe & we haven't had it in years. So, I am reintroducing this recipe! This is a great dessert to bring for groups as long as there is a freezer available to put it in until served!
