1 T butter
1-1/2 lbs ground beef
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
1 tsp sugar
8 oz can tomato sauce
8 oz can of tomato paste
8 oz egg noodles
6 scallions
3 oz cream cheese
1 c sour cream
1/2 c grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and chopped garlic in butter. Drain fat. Add salt, pepper, sugar, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Blend and heat through. Make noodles according to package directions. Drain. Chop scallions. In a blender, combine scallions, cream cheese, and sour cream. In a greased casserole dish, layer 1/2 noodles, 1/2 meat sauce, 1/2 cheese sauce. Repeat. Top with grated cheddar cheese. Bake at 350, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

I use cream cheese with chives instead of scallions. I use about 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese.
