2 cups regular all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sallt
1 1/2 cups mashed, fully ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups kellogg's al-bran cereal or bran buds cereal or 2 1/2 cups kellogg's 40% Bran Flakes
1/2 cup regular margarine or butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup coarsey chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking powder, soda & sat. Set aside.
In small mixing bowl, stir together mashed bananas and cereal. Let stand 2-3 minutes or until cereal is softenend.
In arge mixing bowl beat margarine and sugar until well blended. Add eggs. Mix well. Mix in cereal mixture. Stir in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread batter evenly in greased 9/5/3 inch loaf pan
Bake in oven at 350 degrees about 1 hour ur until wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely before slicing.
