2 acorn or butternut squash
1/4 C butter
1/4 C packed brown sugar
1/4 C chopped pecans
2 T maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Combine butter, brown sugar, pecans and maple syrup. Heat until the brown sugar dissolves. Set the pecan glaze aside.
3) Cut squash lengthwise into 1 inch slices
4) Arrange side by side in a baking pan.
5) Bake for 30 minutes.
6) Remove from the oven and baste the squash with the butter pecan glaze.
7) Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
