1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. pecans
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie shell, unbaked

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add corn syrup, salt and vanilla, mixing well to combine. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in pecans. Pour into the pie shell. Bake 45 minutes or until set. Cool and serve with whipped topping.
