4 ounces Butter, softened
3 cups Sugar
4 Eggs
2 cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 cup Sour cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325º
2. Sift together the flour and baking powder, set aside.
3. In mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
4. Add the eggs - one at a time with the mixer running.
5. Add the sour cream and vanilla and mix until blended.
6. Gradually add the flour mixture, mix well.
7. Pour batter into a greased and floured baking pan.
8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
