• ½ kg. de tejocote partidos en mitades
• ½ kg. de guayaba partida en cuartos
• 250 gr. ciruela pasa
• 5 manzanas amarillas partidas en octavos
• 1½kg caña de azúcar partida en bastoncitos
• 250 gr de tamarindo pelado
• 3 rajas de canela
• ¾ kg. de azúcar
• 1 cono de piloncillo
• 100 gr de flor de jamaica
• 2 clavos de olor

En una cacerola grande calienta el agua con el azúcar, la canela y el piloncillo. Al primer hervor, agrega los tejocotes y la caña, 15 minutos después, añade las manzanas y unos minutos después las guayabas, la ciruela pasa, el tamarindo, la jamaica y los clavos de olor. Recuerda mantener la llama a fuego medio y dejar que el agua se consuma un poco, sin que la guayaba y las manzanas se desbaraten. Sírvelo bien caliente.
