750 ml Sangria (prefer REAL SANGRIA)
1/4 c. brandy (or to taste)
6-8 oz. ginger ale (to taste)

Optional: thinly sliced peaches, pears or apples, lemons or limes for garnish.

Mix ingredients together in carafe (pitcher or punch bowl), then pour and serve chilled or over ice.

Fruit can be soaked in brandy 2-3 hours prior to serving to absorb the brandy flavor.

Recipe from Larry, wine manager at HEB (he got it from his grandmother). This is a great drink for groups and has been a favorite at our reunions. We usually buy 3 or 4 1.5 Liter bottles of sangria for parties and of course, we do our best to "carefully" measure the brandy.
