1 package dry yeast. 1/2 cups warm water(105*. to 115*) 3 Tablespoons sugar. 1/2 teaspoons salt 2 Tablespoons butter,softened 1 egg About 21/2 Cups all-purpose flour,divided 2 Tablespoons butter,melted 1/3 cups sugar 1 teaspoons ground cinnamon. 1/3 cups raisin 1 cups sifted powdered sugar 2 Tablespoons water

Dissolve yeast in warm water.Add sugar,salt,butter,egg,and 1 cup flour;beat well.Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to a make soft dough.Turn out onto a lightly floured surface;knead 5 minutes.Roll into an 18-x-9-inch rectangle.Brush with melted butter;sprinkle with 1/3 cups sugar,cinnamon,and raisins.Roll dough up jellyroll fashion,beginning at long side;moisten edges with water to seal.Cut roll into 11/2-inch slices;place slices cut side down in a lightly greased 8-inch round cakepan.Cover;let rise in a warm place(85*),free from drafts,1 hours or until doubled in bulk.Bake at 375*F.for 30 to 35 minutes.Combine powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons water.Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
