5-6 pound ribeye roast
3 large cloves garlic cut into slivers
1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning (or to taste)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut small slits into outside of roast with a thin paring knife. Insert garlic slivers into slits. Rub seasoning onto roast. Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Roast for 2 to 2-1/2 hours or until internal temperature registers 125 degrees on a meat thermometer for rare. Cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes for medium. Let roast rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

This recipe came from Sams where they had ribeye roasts on sale. We did this for Christmas dinner 2012 and it was fabulous. 10/21/13
