2 pounds lean hamburger
1 box Lipton’s Original Onion Soup Mix (2 packets)
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup ketchup
3/4 cup plain, dry breadcrumbs or 1-1/2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well then add in hamburger (use your hands). Form into two long loaves in a 9x13” baking dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven 45-60 minutes.

I doubt that you’ll ever make this – the word meatloaf usually brought out sounds of dismay when it was “what’s for supper”. Your Dad really loves it so we’d eat one of the loaves, freeze the other one and fix you all something else. It’s pretty much the recipe on the onion soup box except I use two envelopes to give the meat more flavor. 02/06/07
