1 3 pound fryer cut up or breasts or legs and thighs
1 stick butter
Large can Carnation Evaporated Milk
Flour
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Shake chicken pieces in a a paper bag with flour, salt and pepper. Melt butter in baking dish in the oven. Lay chicken, skin side up in dish with butter. Pour milk over all and add a little water. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour, adding water as needed. Turn chicken over once during baking.

I found this on Cooks.com and thought it sounded quick and easy. No frying and the gravy is already there when the chicken is done! I’ve never had much luck with gravy. 02/06/07
