Chicken Pieces
1 packet Lipton’s Original Onion Soup Mix
Red wine or red cooking wine

Directions:
Put chicken pieces in an oven baking dish (I used to do four thighs for us but you can use what you like and as many as you like). Mix soup with about a cup of wine and 1/2 cup of water. Pour over the chicken pieces and then dot with butter. Cover and bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.

Personal Notes:
I realize this isn’t much of a recipe but it’s one of the few things I can just make. You actually need enough of the soup/wine/water mixture to come about halfway up your chicken pieces. I call this “Auntie’s” because she made it for me when I was living with her sooooo many years ago. This was at the apartment she lived in on Westport Road – I’ve pointed it out to you all several times. I was only there for a year or so and she spoiled me rotten with good food, clean laundry, etc. It was a pleasant time for both of us, I think she enjoyed taking care of me. 02/06/07
