Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 (32oz) containers of chicken stock (Costco or Trader Joes)
Chicken or Turkey frame or 3 Chicken Breasts with ribs
3-4 Celery stalks, cut evenly in slices using tops of greens too.
4 carrots, cut evenly in slices
1 yellow onion, skin, cut ends but leave whole
seasonings: kosher salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, sprinkle of dill, parsley flakes
1 bag of fine egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
In a crock pot on low setting: place chicken or frame then cover with chicken stock. Add whole onion, carrots & celery. Add seasonings. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Try not to lift lid as it reduces the internal temperature. Soup is done when chicken is cooked and vegetables are still slightly firm. Add more seasoning if necessary. Pull out onion and discard. Pull out chicken on a cutting board and shred discarding bones. Put shredded chicken back in soup.

Make egg noodles per package instructions and add some to each bowl before putting soup in. I do NOT put noodles into the soup for storing as makes them mushy.

Personal Notes:
Crockpots come in different sizes. Some only accept 2 containers of chicken stock. This can also be made on the stovetop in a large stock pot. Simmer for 2-3 hours on low. Store in refrigerator or can be frozen (without noodles). Fat will rise to the top in refrigerator and you can skim/discard before cooking. Keep for 5-7 days by bringing to a boil before eating. If using turkey frame, beware of small bones that can break off.
