1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/2 water
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
3 Tbsp dry sherry
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1/4 cup veg oil
6 green onions chopped
3 garlic cloves
1 (8oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 to 2 tsps. crushed red pepper
1 tsp ginger root fresh minced
2 pd. med size fresh shrimp,peeled and deveined.

Combined catsup,chili sauce,water,sugar,cornstarch,sherry,soy sauce, and sesame oil,mix well,and set aside.

pour oil in skillet or wok. Heat to 325 for 1 min, add green onions,garlic, water chestnuts,red pepper,ginger root,and crack pepper.

stir fry 2 to 3 mins. Add shrimp stir fry until shrimp is pink.Add catsup mixture to wok and cook 1 min stirring constantly, until thickened.

Serve with rice
