1 cup milk
1 teaspoon sugar
2 T. butter
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 package active dry yeast
2 T. water
2 2/3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle yeast over 2 T. warm water. Warm the milk, sugar, butter and salt to lukewarm. Beat in yeast mixture, 1 cup flour and egg. Knead in additional flour until smooth and no longer sticky. Place in greased bowl. Top with 1 T. melted butter. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled. Roll out on floured board. Cut in rounds. Dip a knife in four and make a deep crease across each roll. Fold over crease. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise 35 minutes. Preheat oven to 425º. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from pan to cool.
