2 packages dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
2 cups of water and milk combined
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 T. salt
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 cups wheat germ
4-6 cups all purpose or bread flour
2 cups wheat flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle yeast over 1/2 cup warm water. Let sit 5 minutes. Warm milk/water combination, honey, salt and butter in microwave 2 minutes. Add to two cups wheat flour and wheat germ. Beat in eggs. Add enough remaining flour to form stiff dough. Turn out on floured surface and knead at least fifteen minutes until dough is no longer sticky. Let rise, covered, in warm place until double. Punch down. Flatten into a rectangle and cut in two. Roll each rectangle like a jelly roll. Place seam side down in two greased loaf pans. Place in cold oven. Turn heat to 400º for fifteen minutes. Lower the temperature to 350º and bake an additional 20-30 minutes. Remove from pan. Brush with melted butter and cool.
