1 lb Italian Sausage or Hamburger
1 medium Onion (1 cup)
1 Clove Garlic (1/2 tsp minced garlic/1/8 tsp garlic powder)
1 16 oz Can Whole Tomatoes
1 15 oz Can Tomato Sauce
3 oz tomato paste
2 Tbsp dried Parsley Flakes
1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning OR
—1.5 tsp Oregano
—1.5 tsp dried Basil Leaves
1/2 tsp Salt
spinach (optional)

9 Lasagne Noodles

1 16 oz carton of Ricotta Cheese
1/4 C grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Tbsp dried Parsley Leaves
2 C shredded Mozzarella Cheese (8 oz)
1 tsp oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and stir Italian sausage, onion and garlic. Drain. Add tomatoes with liquid, tomato sauce, tomato paste, 2 Tbsp parsley, basil, oregano, Italian seasoning and 1/2 tsp salt. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered until mixture is consistency of thick spaghetti sauce, about 1 hour. Reserve 1/2 cup of sauce

Cook noodles as directed.

Mix ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1 Tbsp parsley, 1 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp oregano.

Layer 1/3 each of the noodles, remaining sauce mixture, cheese mixture.

spread reserve sauce on top, sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
