3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 cup of sugar (or omit)
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 t vanilla
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg

Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 or 3T of soft butter
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and/or into a greased casserole dish. Prepare topping and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Cover for a part of that if you don't want the top to get too brown too early.

A holiday staple and favorite! I have typically altered it to be less sweet than Attee made it so the naturally sweet flavor of the potatoes is more prominent.
