Personal Notes:
This the recipe that has been used with the Wassail Carol at the Elizabethan Madrigal Feast at the Brazosport Center for Arts and Sciences since 1988. Cheryl got the recipe from Mary Sliva of Olney, Illinois. Gus and Mary Sliva produced a Christmas madrigal feast in Olney which provided the inspiration for the Brazosport production.
