1 cup butter or margarine
10 tbsp. Hershey's cocoa, heaping
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
pinch salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, melt the two sticks of butter or margarine over low heat. Mix in the dry cocoa. In a mixing bowl, mix by hand the beaten eggs and the sugar. Stir in cocoa mixture from the saucepan. Mix well. Stir in a pinch of salt and the vanilla. Then stir in the flour until it is well mixed. Pour into a buttered 13" x 9" pan and bake at 350º F for approximately 30 minutes. Cool in a pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into squares and enjoy.

Our friend Susan Plowman sent a box of these brownies to Amy at Trinity University in December, 1998. She received them right after she turned in her last paper of the semester. She wrote home about them, asked us to get the recipe and we have been making them ever since.
