1 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. molasses
3 eggs
1 c. butter, softened
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
9 c. flour, divided

Frosting:
3 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl mix all ingredients together except frosting ingredients. Increase speed of mixer. Beat 2 minutes longer. Stir in 5 to 6 cups of flour or until have a nice cookie dough formed. Not too dry! Divide dough in 2 pieces. Keep 1 piece covered while you roll out other piece. Cut into desired shapes. Not too thin. You want a good thick cookie. Use immediately or refrigerate up to 2 days. Bake at 350º 10 to 15 minutes or just until browned and set. Keep an eye on it while baking.
For Frosting:
Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy. Put into decorating bags and squeeze on cookies to decorate. Use raisins for eyes and other candies to decorate.
