Ingredients:
Ingredients:
¾ lb. strawberries
¾ lb. blueberries
¼ c. maple syrup (optional)
2 c red or white grape juice or apple juice
3 Tbsp arrowroot or non-gmo corn starch
¼ lb. raspberries
¼ lb. blackberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first three ingredients with half the juice in a large sauce pan. The maple syrup is not needed, but makes a sweet dessert soup. Combine remaining juice with arrowroot and add to berries just when they look like they are going to boil. Turn off heat and stir until thickened. Fold in blackberries and raspberries. This is delicious served over waffles or crepes or just as it is.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
"It is not the fear of punishment, or the hope of everlasting reward, that leads the disciples of Christ to follow Him. They behold the Saviour’s matchless love, revealed throughout His pilgrimage on earth, from the manger of Bethlehem to Calvary’s cross, and the sight of Him attracts, it softens and subdues the soul. Love awakens love in the heart of the beholders." Ellen G. White, Desire of Ages p. 480
