"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

salt & pepper to taste
1 cup optional ingredients (see below)

Directions:
As a general rule, I add a combined amount of 1 cup of 3 additional ingredients. (Basically ⅓ cup of each to make a total of 1 cup.) Here are some ideas:
cubed ham or crumbled cooked bacon
chopped broccoli
chopped tomatoes
sliced onions, or green onions
chopped spinach
chopped asparagus
cooked cubed potato

Preheat your oven to 350℉. Whisk together all the ingredients. Pour the egg mixture into an pie dish, and bake uncovered for about 45 minutes. Or until the centre is set, and not jiggly.
