1 chopped onion
2 pounds ground beef
3-4 yellow squash, chopped
1 pkg spaghetti sauce mix (your favorite)
1 large and one small can of tomato sauce
garlic powder
italian seasoning
small can mushroom pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onion and brown in oil in your largest skillet. Add ground beef, breaking up as it browns. Add spices then tomato sauce and mushrooms, then chopped squash. Cover and reduce heat to simmer til squash is soft. Serve over spaghetti.

This is a great way to make spaghetti sauce so much better for you and hide the veggies from your kids. Once the sauce is cooked you cannot actually see the squash! But it tastes SO much better than jar sauce. This is something I tried on my own and Logan loves it this way better than plain meat sauce. By the way, try adding 2-3 shredded yellow squash to your meatloaf recipe!
