2 pounds ground chuck or round
1 egg
1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
6 ounce jar grape jelly (or best guess from larger one)
juice of one lemon
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground meat, egg, and salt and pepper by squeezing together, then roll into 1 to 1 1/2 inch meatballs. In large saucepan, heat chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly til nearly simmering. Drop meatballs into sauce. Cover and simmer 30 minutes; uncover and simmer 15 minutes more. Stir frequently.

To freeze, cook only 20 minutes.

These are SOOO easy and so yummy! Serve at parties with toothpicks as an appetizer. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice for dinner. I got this recipe from my mother but can't remember ever eating it at home!
