Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 (2 oz.) package dried beef (also called chipped beef)
1/4 c. chopped onion (if desired)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt (optional)
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Dice the dried beef into small pieces, approximately 1/4" squares.

Dice/mince the green onions if you choose to include them.

Add all of the ingredients to the softened cream cheese in a medium sized bowl. Reserve about 1/3 of the beef to roll it in after ball is formed.

The ingredients should be consistent throughout the cheese ball.

Spread the remaining beef pieces on wax paper. Roll beef ball in extra beef covering completely.

Store in the fridge for at least 6-8 hours.

Serve with crackers.

This is a great make ahead item to serve at parties and will keep for weeks if stored properly. Wrap the ball back up in the wax paper and then seal up in an airtight container or ziplock bag for best results.
