2-1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar - maximum
1/2 tsp. finely shredded lemon or lime zest
1-1/4 c. freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, heat & stir water & sugar over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; cool 20 minutes.
Add peel & juice to sugar mixture. Pour into container, cover, & refrigerate up to 3 days.

To make: For each glass of lemonade or limeade, combine equal parts base & water into ice-filled glasses; stir.
