1 32 oz bag hash browns
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)
1 can of milk
1 pouch dry onion soup mix
salt and pepper to taste
crushed crackers or chips
2 cups cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375*

Mix soup and milk together, add cheese. Stir in onion soup mix and sour cream. Add potatoes and mix real good. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Put in buttered or sprayed glass pan. Spread as thin as possible and put in oven. 15 minutes before end of hour, put chips or crackers on top and return to oven to let brown.
