2 tbsp. vegetable or canola oil
2 tbsp. all purpose flour or gluten free flour
4 tbsp. chili powder
(if wary about the heat/spice, start with 2 tbsp. & add more once the sauce has reached a simmer)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 c. chicken or vegetable broth

Directions:

Heat oil in small saucepan over med/hi heat. Add flour & stir together over heat for 1 minute. Stir in the remaining seasonings. Gradually add in the stock, whisking constantly to remove all lumps. Reduce heat & simmer 10-15 minutes until thick.

Use immediately or store in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
