30 Crushed Oreos
1/3 c. melted butter or margarine (Press into bottom of 15*9*2 pan; have a little for topping
2 packages pistachio instant pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
2 drops green food coloring
1 qt. ice cream
Cool Whip
Directions:
Directions:
Put Oreos on bottom of pan (leave some for topping). Mix Instant Pudding, Milk & Food Coloring on low speed, add soft ice cream. Pour over Crumbs.Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Place in freezer. Cut in squares.

*Merle's note: Instead of 1 qt. ice cream use almost 1/2 gallon - it makes it just as good and makes more. It's quite rich so an average serving is usually enough. I've kept it in the freezer for several weeks - remember to cover it.

This is a favorite for many of the Mitchell family that their Nana (Merle) made. I'm so glad that the recipe has been passed on through generations. It really is delicious and easy to make.
