2 oz instant coffee
4 c sugar
2 c boiling water
1 pint whiskey
1 vanilla bean

Directions:
Thoroughly clean 2 medium sized glass bottles (preferably made of brown glass). Combine coffee, sugar, and water and heat until sugar is combined with other ingredients. Pour in whiskey and stir. Put 1/2 of the vanilla bean in each bottle and add the cooled Kahlua and seal. Let stand in a cool dark place for at least 30 days.
