1 c. ketchup
¼ c. brown sugar
2 T. vinegar
2 lbs. ground beef, chuck or sirloin
1 egg
1 onion, finely chopped
½ c. bread crumbs
salt and pepper
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over to 300ºand grease a 12 cup muffin ten.

Mix 1/2 c. ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar in a small bowl.
Combine well.
Mix ground beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs and salt and pepper.
Combine well.
Form into 12 equal balls.
Place 2-1/2 tsp. of mixture in the bottom of prepared muffin cups.
Place meat balls in muffin cups, pressing down to smooth top of meat.
Cook until no longer pink and juices bubble around edges, about 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let set for 5 minutes before removing.

Serve with mashed potatoes, peas and carrots.
