Directions:Boil 6 eggs until hard-boil stage and allow to cool. (May boil an extra 1 to 2 eggs to allow for a larger amount of stuffing and for substitution of torn eggs in peeling process cause it's probably going to happen if you are left handed.) After removing from heat, place in cold water so egg white will not become discolored.
Peel and cut into halves. Place yokes into small bowl and mash out all the lumps. Beat yokes by hand until fluffy.
Add mayonnaise, Durkee's famous sauce, pickle relish, salt and pepper.
Stuff eggs. Chill at least 1-2 hrs. Sprinkle with paprika before serving. |

Notes: When our children were preschoolers, my best friend Dianne McElroy Ainsworth and I used take our children on picnics to Arkabutla Lake during the day, along with her sweet mama Jean Laughter McElroy. Dianne was eating one of the eggs one day and she said, "Dixie, these eggs are so good they make you want to slap your mama." Jean looked at Dianne and said, "Not this mama!" The eggs were forever tagged Slap Your Mama deviled eggs so we'd never forget the joy of our time together on picnics.
